Ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ σου μνήσθητι ἡμῶν, Κύριε, ὅταν ἔλθῃς ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ σου.

(En ti vasileia sou mnisthiti imon, Kirie, otan elthis en ti vasileia sou.)

In your kingdom remember us, O Lord, when you come in your kingdom.


Μακάριοι οἱ πτωχοὶ τῷ πνεύματι, ὅτι αὐτῶν ἐστιν ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν.

(Makarii ii ptokhi to pnevmati, oti afton estin ii vasileia ton ouranon.)

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.


Μακάριοι οἱ πενθοῦντες, ὅτι αὐτοὶ παρακληθήσονται.

(Makarii ii penthountes, oti afti paraklithisontai.)

Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.


Μακάριοι οἱ πραεῖς, ὅτι αὐτοὶ κληρονομήσουσι τὴν γῆν.

(Makarii ii praeis, oti afti klironomisousi tin yin.)

Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.


Μακάριοι οἱ πεινῶντες καὶ διψῶντες τὴν δικαιοσύνην, ὅτι αὐτοὶ χορτασθήσονται.

(Makarii ii peinontes kai dipsontes tin dikaiosinin, oti afti khortasthisontai.)

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.


Μακάριοι οἱ ἐλεήμονες, ὅτι αὐτοὶ ἐλεηθήσονται.

(Makarii ii eleimones, oti afti eleithisontai.)

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.


Μακάριοι οἱ καθαροὶ τῇ καρδίᾳ, ὅτι αὐτοὶ τὸν Θεὸν ὄψονται.

(Makarii ii kathari ti kardia, oti afti ton Theon opsontai.)

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.


Μακάριοι οἱ εἰρηνοποιοί, ὅτι αὐτοὶ υἱοὶ Θεοῦ κληθήσονται.

(Makarii ii eirinopii, oti afti iyi Theou klithisontai.)

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.


Μακάριοι οἱ δεδιωγμένοι ἕνεκεν δικαιοσύνης, ὅτι αὐτῶν ἐστιν ἡ βασιλεία τῶν οὐρανῶν.

(Makarii ii dediogmeni eneken dikaiosinis, oti afton estin ii vasileia ton ouranon.)

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.


Μακάριοί ἐστε, ὅταν ὀνειδίσωσιν ὑμᾶς, καὶ διώξωσι, καὶ εἴπωσι πᾶν πονηρὸν ῥῆμα καθ' ὑμῶν, ψευδόμενοι ἕνεκεν ἐμοῦ.

(Makarii este, otan oneidisosin imas, kai dioxosi, kai eiposi pan poniron rima kath imon, psevdomeni eneken emou.)

Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for your reward is great in heaven. 


Χαίρετε καὶ ἀγαλλιᾶσθε, ὅτι ὁ μισθὸς ὑμῶν πολὺς ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς.

(Khairete kai agalliasthe, oti o misthos imon polis en tis ouranis.)

Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven.


Δόξα Πατρί και Υιώ και Αγίω Πνεύματι. 

(Doxa Patri kai Iyo kai Agio Pnevmati.)

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.


Και νυν και αεί και εις τους αιώνας των αιώνων. Αμήν.  

(Kai nin kai aei ka eis tous aionas ton aionon. Amin.)

Both now and ever and to the ages of ages. Amen.
